Wednesday Miley turned one. In our family Jon is the creative and artsy person. But since he had to work up until the party, I had the honor of trying to create a cake. I decided to go with a ladybug, being something easy. I will have to say, for my first time at doing a cake, it didn't turn out too bad. It's a little more pink than red but I swear the frosting didn't look like it was getting any dark with the more food coloring I was putting in!
We had friends and family over and Miley loved it. She can't get enough of her baby and stroller. She puts just about anything in the stroller and pushes it around. Ryker enjoys it as well. It was something new for Ryker to have another kid in the family getting the toys. I don't think Miley got to play with any of her new stuff that first day. Hopefully he will grow out of that!

Little hint, to make the frosting a little different and really saturated with color dump some kool aid powder in, it makes it tangy and really colorful. My favorite is Orange Koolaid for halloween.
